A new weekly maritime service in Sète

Primever is proud to announce the official launch of a new weekly maritime service in Sète, starting on March 7, 2025. This announcement marks a major step forward for the development of the fruit terminal at the Port of Sète, which has been managed by Primever since 2023.
A strategic corridor between Africa and Europe
This new service offers a direct connection from West Africa, with stops in Nouakchott (Mauritania) and Dakar (Senegal). By integrating the logistics hubs of Las Palmas and Valencia, this route also opens up new sourcing opportunities from South America and South Africa. This advancement optimizes import flows and meets the growing demands of the European market.
A fruitful collaboration
This project is the result of two years of joint efforts with our importing clients, the Port of Sète, and the Port Services of Sète. Together, we have worked to strengthen the port’s competitiveness in the fruit and vegetable sector and provide European importers and distributors with an efficient and sustainable maritime alternative.
