An Exemplary Logistics Operation!

From December 5 to 8, the port of Sète hosted a major logistics operation where a team of experts took on a huge challenge: unloading and dispatching a festive shipment of lychees in record time.

The Atlantic Klipper, a vessel arriving from the East Coast of Madagascar, delivered a precious cargo: 7,020 pallets of lychees, or 81 containers. This mission posed a significant logistical challenge, requiring flawless organization to ensure the smooth transit of this delicate cargo.

In total, 54 people, the majority of whom were volunteers from our Group, worked in shifts from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., performing an uninterrupted logistics ballet. Their goal? To carry out an efficient unloading operation while meeting customs requirements, safety standards, and transport deadlines.

This operation was a true collective achievement. Our logistics, transport, and international teams once again demonstrated their responsiveness and expertise in international transit, ensuring a fast and efficient delivery so these lychees could reach French tables in time for the holiday season.
