Work-study Logistics Assistant role

In a work-study Logistics Assistant role, you’ll learn the basics of goods flow management, from tracking stocks to coordinating deliveries. You’ll be assisting the logistics managers in their day-to-day tasks, gaining valuable experience in the refrigerated transport sector. This position is ideal for students with 2 or 3 years of higher education who are looking to combine theory and practice. You can then continue with us by choosing a pathway with our partner schools, with up to 5 years in higher education.

Human Resources Trainee

For students with 3 or 5 years’ higher education, a work placement in Human Resources at Primever will give you an insight into the many facets of personnel management in the transport sector. You will be involved in the recruitment, training and career management of employees. You will develop skills in communication, project management and human resources administration.

Work-study Sales Assistant role

In a work-study Sales Assistant role, you’ll learn to manage customer relationships, negotiate contracts and promote Primever’s services. You will be trained in sales and marketing techniques specific to the fruit and vegetable transport sector in France and internationally. This position is ideal for business or management students looking to specialise in a dynamic and growing field.

The "Hothouse” career path leads to success

This is a unique, comprehensive and permanent career path. Because we believe so strongly in you, over the course of 2 years you’ll learn about the different jobs that make up transport and logistics, working alongside experienced managers. Starting out as a Junior Manager, you’ll finish your training as a Business Manager, Operations Manager or Sales Manager. It’s up to you, depending on what you want to do and what you feel comfortable doing. So, are you ready to take the first steps?

Junior Logistics Manager

A recent graduate with 5 years’ higher education can start out as a Junior Logistics Manager. This role involves managing and optimising the flow of goods within the company. As the logistics manager’s right-hand man, you will coordinate the teams, plan deliveries and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. You will play a key role in the supply chain, ensuring a smooth link between producers and end customers. This position requires great organisational skills, a thorough approach and a good command of logistics management IT tools.

CSR Project Manager

Becoming a CSR Project Manager is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with 3 or 5 years’ higher education and a passion for corporate social responsibility. You will be responsible for developing and implementing Primever’s CSR policies, working to reduce carbon footprints and promote sustainable practices. Your tasks will include drafting reports, raising team awareness and implementing innovative ecological projects. This position is ideal for those who want to combine their project management skills with their commitment to the environment.

Logistics Data Analyst

With 3 or 5 years in higher education studying data science or logistics, you can start out as a Logistics Data Analyst. You will analyse operational data to identify opportunities for improvement, optimise transport routes and reduce costs. You will use data visualisation software to create reports and dashboards for management. Your ability to transform raw data into usable information is essential to improve the performance of transport processes.

Language training

Driver

Without a diploma, you can become a driver specialising in refrigerated transport. You will be responsible for transporting perishable goods, particularly fruit and vegetables, under optimum temperature conditions. It’s an essential role, as you’re responsible for filling the plates of the French! This job requires a good knowledge of safety standards and a high level of attention to detail to ensure the quality of the products delivered. You will be the essential link between producers and consumers, ensuring that products arrive fresh and in good condition. You will have the opportunity to progress to managerial operating positions within the Group.

Dock agent

As a Dock Agent, you will play a crucial role in managing the loading and unloading of goods. You will supervise the organisation of the warehouses, ensure compliance with safety standards and help to optimise logistics processes. You’ll need a keen sense of organisation to succeed. If you’re looking to move up the career ladder, there are plenty of opportunities, from dock manager to operations manager, via administrative roles, all the doors are open to you.

Order picker

The order picker ensures that products are correctly selected, packaged and ready for dispatch to customers. This job requires good organisation and attention to detail to ensure the freshness and quality of the fruit and vegetables. As order pickers often work in refrigerated environments, they must comply strictly with food safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to enter the transport sector without the need for formal qualifications, with plenty of scope for progression through in-house training and skills development.
